Our Ministry
The Center for Online Evangelism is a 501(c)3 nonprofit entity that helps the Seventh-day Adventist Church improve its visibility, credibility and relevance in the online world.
Our Goals
Everything we do is prayerfully dedicated to reaching the vast online mission field with the Three Angels’ Messages.
Our Network
While our headquarters is in Southern Oregon, we have team members from across the globe training missionaries around the world.
The Fastest Growing Mission Field In The World
In recent years we’ve witnessed the creation and growth of the largest mission field the world has ever known. And not only is it the largest, it’s growing faster than any other mission field known to man.
How fast? Every second, 6.4 people become a part of this mission field—and it’s been growing like that for 15 years!
This mission field has over 3.5 billion people in it and makes up 48% of the world’s entire population.
What’s more, we are already becoming a part of this mission field. We’re likely spending hours within it each day, no matter where we live.
We have our conversations in this mission field. We share our travel pictures, raise funds for kids in the hospital, and discuss current events. We subscribe to coupons from our favorite stores, review restaurants, and research hotel rates.
And there’s more. We’re barely getting our feet wet.
Yes, we’re talking about the internet—or the Online Mission Field.
Some work in the field full-time. Others work part-time. Some are paid, some are volunteers. This mission field is so huge that a place is always ready and waiting for anyone who wants to work!
Like any unfamiliar country, this field has a unique language, specific customs and rituals that must be observed, and dangers to avoid. Above all, there are certain methods that have been proven to work in attracting and bringing people to Christ.
The Center for Online Evangelism is a missionary project devoted to developing online mission stations.
We help them understand the unique culture, unique rules, and unique activities that must take place to build relationships online, and then move those relationships into the offline world (i.e., church pews, students in a school, a ministry’s recipients).
To accomplish this delicate process, the Center operates as a full-scale digital marketing agency for Seventh-day Adventist churches, schools and ministries. This also allows the Center to exist as a think-tank, providing our denomination with the latest information, best practices and training for those that work in the online mission field through their local church or school websites.
Our Team
Our dedicated workers are each Seventh-day Adventist professionals that have demonstrated expertise in their respective industries. They have chosen to devote a sizable part of their commercial careers to the Center for Online Evangelism in order to help spread the Gospel to the online mission field.
